Being exposed to the Global Surgery group was by far the highlight of my first clinical year at Oxford. During my rotations, I became particularly interested in how high-quality surgical care can be effectively delivered in low-resource settings, which led me to join the OxPLORE project on testicular torsion in Sub-Saharan Africa. I am excited to be joining the team as Student Representative and learn more about these professionals and their inspirational work in the field.
