The Oxford University Global Surgery Group (OUGSG) maintains strong links with the Pan-Africa Paediatric Surgical Association (PAPSA) and the Global Initiative for Children's Surgery (GICS).

Recent research activities undertaken by members of the OUGSG linked to children's surgery include:
